Tailored content

CONTENT DEVELOPEMENT SERVICE

Inmarkets offers a highly flexible framework for developing e-learning content. The foundation of this framework is our Skillcast authoring platform. Our content development services come in three options to suit your requirements

RAPID COURSE DEVELOPEMENT

If you want to produce new content rapidly with minimal input from Inmarkets you can convert existing PowerPoints into Flash-based e-learning and add interactivities and quizzes for £500 per module or less.

TAILORED OFF-THE-SHELF CONTENT

If you need to provide training on generic topics, to speed up your content development process you may want to use all, or part of, an existing Inmarkets course. Inmarkets courses have been designed to make customisation of the content in Skillcast as easy as possible. This means you can get professionally designed content and tailor it to your business at a very low cost. You can either carry out these updates yourself or ask Inmarkets to complete them for an agreed hourly rate.

CUSTOM COURSE DEVELOPMENT

Inmarkets makes over 100 bespoke courses each year for a variety of clients. We work with each client to produce the content most suitable to their particular requirement This decision on which approach to take is typically made up of a number of factors including:

  • Size of audience
  • Required impact of the programme
  • Senior Management support
  • Budget
  • Cost of alternative options

Depending on the factors above some clients may wish to create a high impact course to champion e-learning which could cost up to £30,000 for 20 minutes or they might want a quick tactical solution to a training need for around £6,000 for 20 minutes.
Inmarkets will produce the content you require at the price that fits your budget.

Our content process follows these stages:

Stage 1 - Knowledge Acquisition
Inmarkets collate all the resources required for the course and work with internal subject matter experts if required to create the first draft of the script/storyboard. The storyboard will be presented to you for factual review

Stage 2 - First draft of online course
Inmarkets will then use the storyboard as the basis to produce the first draft of the online module. you will be invited to review the course online, and leave comments for our designers.

Stage 3 - Review Stage
The online course will then go through a number of review stages. At each stage you will conduct a review and leave feedback, which Inmarkets will action for the next round.

Stage 4 - Final Draft Signed Off
After you are fully satisfied with the online module, it will be prepared for release either on you own Learner Management System or the Inmarkets platform

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

Below are some examples from existing work we have completed for clients that show a variety of our instructional design styles. Each technique has its own advantages and limitations so the most suitable approach will depend on the agreed storyboard for the module.
